Interim services during Potrero branch closure:  Bookmobile service is provided on Tuesdays from 2:30 to 5 p.m., and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on the north side of 1502 Mariposa Street, adjacent to the Jackson Park Recreation Center building.  Services include borrowing, returning, reserving or picking up materials, and obtaining or renewing a library card.


November Potrero children’s programs:  Family Storytime, featuring stories, songs and rhymes. For children from birth to five years old.  Thursdays, November 5 and 19, 10:30 a.m.  Tim Cain will perform songs on Thursday, November 12, 10:30 a.m. For children from birth to five years old.  Programs are held at St. Teresa’s Community Hall, Connecticut and 19th streets.  Enter on Connecticut Street.  Information: http://potrerolibrarysfpl.blogspot.com.

Mission Bay Library:  The Mission Bay Library is located at 960 Fourth Street, at Berry, near AT&T Park.  The library is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Wednesdays noon to 8 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Sundays 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Muni N and T lines are a block away, at Fourth and King Streets, and street parking is on Channel Street, also a block away.  Information:  355.2838; http://missionbaylibrary.blogspot.com.


November Mission Bay Programs:  Get a multiple subject teaching credential.  Candidates use cutting-edge online technology and experience a fully integrated teaching environment. CalStateTEACH is an online California State University (CSU) teacher preparation program offered at the low CSU fee schedule. CalStateTEACH credential candidates are eligible to teach multiple subjects in a general education self-contained K-12 classroom. Wednesday, November 4, 6:30 p.m.

 

Children’s Yoga, with certified yoga instructor Tatjana Rmus, for children ages three to five and their caregivers. Bring a mat or towel.  Baby Rhyme Time, with interactive music, rhymes, bounces, books, and more for infants to 24 months and their caregivers.  Wednesday, November 4, 5:30 p.m. Thursdays, November 5, 12, 19, 10:15 a.m.  Toddler Tales, with music, movement, rhymes, books and more for 18 to 36 months and their caregivers.   Fridays, November 6 and 20, 4:30 p.m.  Preschool Storytime, for children ages three to five.   Thursdays, 5, 12, 19, 4:30 p.m.   The Bubble Lady.  Take a journey with us through Bubble Land as The Bubble Lady creates amusing bubble sculptures. For children ages one and older.  Wednesday, November 18, 4 p.m.
