Cartoon Art Museum: Pay What You Wish Day

The Cartoon Art Museum is the only U.S. museum dedicated to the preservation and exhibition of cartoon art in all its forms. It houses roughly 6,000 original pieces in its permanent collection. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 655 Mission Street.

Community: Public “Scoping Session” for Cor-O-Van Complex

Cor-O-Van Complex Provide your comments to assist the San Francisco Planning Department in reviewing the scope and content of the Environmental Impact Report for the proposed 395-unit residential and commercial complex at the Cor-O-Van
site, located at 17th, 16th, and Mississippi streets. Weigh in

Family: Concert and Playtime at Recess

Acclaimed San Francisco-based singer-songwriter Frances England brings her new band and multi-media show to perform sweet songs expressing the joys and challenges of childhood. Celebrate the 27th annual Pi Day, an international holiday feting the never-ending number π, 3.14159, and the spirit of wonder and quirk that science inspires. Bayview comes alive for “3rd on Third”, a communitywide arts celebration for the whole family. Dance Theater: The Conference of the Birds
Copious Dance Theater presents The Conference of the Birds, a new work from artistic director Kat Roman. Inspired by the ancient Persian poem by Farid ud-Din Attar, Conference of the Birds chronicles the journey of birds as they search for a leader.
