One day, I happened to find myself in the right place at the right time. Little did I know that this would be the luckiest day of my life (so far). About a year ago, my 11-year-old self decided to go out on a morning run with my parents. After stepping outside, and feeling the cool morning breeze, I knelt down to tie my shoe, only to see a singular lucky penny, then another one. There were coins everywhere! I couldn’t move two feet without finding another coin. We looked down the hill and saw more coins everywhere! Surprised, we collected them all. We walked back to where we started, only to see more coins that we must have missed! Fifteen minutes later, we counted the coins, which totaled $28.78. I am always trying to find free change on the ground after this fun (and random) experience.
