2 Journeys is a two-person exhibition featuring married artists, Gugger Petter and John Torrey, who present distinct bodies of work shaped by the written word and experiences abroad. Petter creates female portraits from rolled newspaper tubes, transforming the printed word into richly textured tapestries. Torrey’s Lingua series features oil paintings inspired by his travels through Europe and the Middle East, as well as his study of ancient languages, including Old Latin and Aramaic.
